Address lookups stay out of CurbAtlas records

We use the address you enter only to run the lookup. We don’t store it, put it in the page URL, or include it in feedback.

Address lookup

Your browser sends the address directly to the public geocoder operated by Baltimore City or the City of Boston. CurbAtlas temporarily uses the returned location to match the address with the city’s collection map. CurbAtlas does not receive or store the address or coordinates on its servers.

Website and lookup analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views, general traffic patterns, device types, countries, and site performance. It does not use cookies or local storage for analytics or track people across websites.

We also record whether a lookup returned a schedule or was unavailable. This event contains only the city, the outcome, and the collection-data version. It does not contain your address, coordinates, a visitor ID, or free text.

Optional feedback

If you send feedback, we record only the city, whether the lookup found a result, your Yes or No answer, any reason you select, and the data version used for the result. The feedback does not contain your address, coordinates, or free text.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts CurbAtlas and stores aggregated analytics, lookup, and feedback data. Baltimore City and the City of Boston provide the public address and collection data used for their respective lookups.
